The annual Hungarian Honorary Consul Conference for the U.S.A. took place on December 4, 2015 at the Embassy of Hungary in Washington DC. Ambassador Szemerkenyi welcomed all US-based Hungarian Consuls for a dinner at the Ambassador's residence, which was followed by a half-day conference on the following day. The day concluded with the annual Mikulas Dinner that was organized by the Hungarian American Coalition.

The conference was attended by Embassy staff, representatives from the Hungarian Consuls General in New York and Chicago, and Mr. Zsolt Nemeth, Chairman of the Hungarian Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee.
