On January 9, 2018, the State of South Carolina inaugurated its 117th Governor Mr. McMaster and celebrated the event with a public ceremony in front of the South Carolina State House in Columbia. The Governor's Office extended invitations to all dignitaries who count South Carolina to their jurisdictions and Honorary Consul Chris Domeny attended for Hungary. SC Secretary of Commerce Hitt held a private function afterwards for the dignitaries to emphasize the state's priorities in cultivating international relationships.
