Honorary Consul Chris Domeny attended the World Affairs Council of Charlotte VIP reception and luncheon with German ambassador Peter Wittig on Friday, March 6th, 2015. Wittig spoke about the Ukraine crisis, the financial situation in the eurozone, and Germany’s growing relationship with the United States.

The ambassador says he's not surprised Charlotte is becoming a major destination for German businesses. U.S. Congressman Robert Pittenger gave the ambassador a warm welcome and a Carolina Panthers jacket to help make the trip even more memorable.
