Honorary Consul Domeny was invited by Davidson College to take part in the German Election 2017 discussion that was held on September 24, 2017 in Davidson, NC. Honorary Consul of Germany (NC) Klaus Becker provided an overview of the German election system and commentary on recent developments. Honorary Consul of France (NC) Laura Wellman and Consul General of Spain Francisco Javier Vallaure de Acha (Los Angeles) provided insight from a western European perspective. Honorary Consul Chris Domeny offered insights from a Central European lense. The discussion was organized and moderated by Scott Denham, Charles A. Dana Professor of German Studies and E. Craig Wall, Jr. Distinguished Teaching Professor in the Humanities at Davidson College.
