Eötvös Loránd University

Semmelweis University (SE)
Semmelweis University has a more than 240-year-old tradition of academic excellence and commitment to educating physicians and health care professionals. Its programs in English were constructed for students with a working knowledge of English. At the conclusion of the programs the degrees granted in English are identical to those granted at the Hungarian programs: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D), Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.), bachelor of sciences (B.Sc) and master of sciences (M.Sc) in nu- merous nursing, health sciences physical education programmes.

Szent István University (SZIE)
Szent István University, one of Hungary’s largest institutions of higher education, consists of ten different faculties for study and research hosting 18000 students. University of Debrecen
The University of Debrecen, one of the five leading research universities, is the oldest Hungarian in- stitution of higher education in continuous operation based in the same city. Its predecessor, the Re- formed College of Debrecen, was founded in 1538. The UD was established in 2000 by (re)uniting several formerly independent institutions. It has 15 faculties, 25 doctoral schools, and a student body of 31 160, offering the broadest choice of majors in the country. Around 2/3 of the 1500 instructors have academic degrees, 140 are doctors of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and 30 are members of the Academy. The university is a renowned research centre, possessing 14-15% of the research volume carried out in Hungarian higher education. With its annual R&D income of about 17 million EUR, the University of Debrecen is one of the most rapidly developing knowledge centres in Central and Eastern Europe.

University of Pécs
The University of Pécs, the oldest university of Hungary, was founded in 1367.
